This year’s Christkindlmarkt is a ticketed event! Kids are free, and adults (18+) are $5. However, a ticket purchase is valid for all six days across both weekends. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Drekker’s Brewhalla or in person at the door.

Broadway Square Tree Lighting
Tuesday, November 21, 5:30 PM - 9 PM

Join Fargo Parks for the annual tree-lighting at Broadway Square. The event kicks off at 5:30 with carolers, then Santa and Mrs. Claus work their Christmas magic to turn on the massive LED tree. Stick around for ice skating, hot cocoa, real live reindeer, and more!

Plaid Friday and Small Business Saturday
Friday, November 24 & Saturday, November 25

Skip Black Friday and Cyber Saturday this year and shop small instead! Many downtown businesses will be hosting Plaid Friday events (when wearing plaid gets you a discount!) and Small Business Saturday sales. Check with your favorite downtown Fargo shops to see what specials they’ll be running.

You could also get your shopping done in one stop at the Small Business Saturday pop-up market from 9 AM to 1 PM at Cellar 624!

17th Annual Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade
Saturday, December 2, 6:30 PM-8:30 PM

Head downtown early and dress warm to snag a good spot along Broadway for the biggest parade of the year. With roughly 100 floats, there will be holiday music, Christmas lights, and magic aplenty.

Arts for the Holidays
Saturday, December 9, 10 AM - 5 PM

Head to the Fargo Civic Center to check out more than 40 local artists and their creations (and maybe even pick up a gift or two). This is a juried art show with a range of artists and mediums, including fine art, jewelry, ceramics, and more.
